《土工合成材料 聚乙烯土工膜》由TC48（全国塑料制品标准化技术委员会）归口上报及执行，主管部门为中国轻工业联合会。

国外聚乙烯土工膜标准主要有3个，包括： “GRI GM13-2021Test Methods, Test Properties and Testing Frequency for High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) Smooth and Textured Geomembranes”、“GRI GM17-2021Test Methods, Test Properties and Testing Frequency for Linear Low Density Polyethylene (LLDPE) Smooth and Textured Geomembranes”和“GRI GM22-2016Test Methods, Required Properties and Testing Frequencies for Scrim Reinforced Polyethylene Geomembranes Used in Exposed Temporary Applications”。

这3个标准都适用于固体废物填埋场。
