《煤矸石分类》由TC42（全国煤炭标准化技术委员会）归口上报，TC42SC5（全国煤炭标准化技术委员会矿井水与废物资源化分会）执行，主管部门为中国煤炭工业协会。

With the continuous improvement of domestic requirements for environmental protection and resource utilization and the development of technology, many new utilization approaches and technologies for coal gangue have emerged, such as geopolymers, 3D printing, etc. Revising the classification standards can better reflect the new utilization methods, provide guidance for related industries, and improve the comprehensive utilization rate of resources. Different types of coal gangue have different compositions and properties. Through more detailed and accurate classification, different utilization approaches can be better matched to improve the comprehensive utilization rate of resources. Meanwhile, it promotes green development, encourages the adoption of more environmentally friendly treatment and utilization methods, and reduces environmental pollution.。
